Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti works towards providing quality
education to underprivileged and rural children. They run a unique program that
targets backward areas and socially lower communities. They select children
from lower income strata and works towards providing them education that can be
compared to residential schools. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has its presence in
different states in India.
Vacancy Details:
Navodaya Vidyalaya samiti has recently invited applications
for posts of PGT and TGT’s. These positions are for Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh
and union territories. TGT and PGT posts will be made available to selected
candidates on contractual basis of one year i.e 2013-2014. Contract may be
renewed on basis of performance.
PGT posts are available for following subjects: Hindi, English, history, Geography, math, Commerce
& IT, Physics, Economics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Biology.
TGT posts are required for following subjects: English,
Hindi, Science, Math & Social Science. There are also openings for position
of FCSA (Faculty cum system administrator)
Applicants need to face a personal interview in order to
crack the job offer.

PGT interview in all areas except Guntur : 28 May 2013 (9 am
onwards)
TGT & FCSA interview in all areas except Guntur: 29 May
2013 (9 am onwards)
PGT interview in Guntur : 29 May 2013 (9 am onwards)

Eligibility
Educational qualifications:

PGT :
a.)
Candidates applying for TGT position should have
a post graduate degree in the subject they are applying for. They must have
obtained at least 50% marks in their post graduation.
b.)
Candidate should be a B.Ed or should have an
educational facilitation degree of same equivalence.
Ø
PGT (IT):
a.)
Applicants should have be B.E or B.tech in field
of computer science.
b.)
Applicant can also be a MCA (master of computer
applications), M.Sc in match or M.Sc in Computer science along with PGDCA or DOEACC
certifications in ‘A’ level.

TGT
a.)
Candidate should have a bachelors degree with
aggregate of 50%. He or she should have also scored minimum 50% marks in the
subject that they have applied for.
Please note that candidates who have cleared their CTET or
CBSE will have an added advantage.
Ø
FCSA:
a.)
Competitors for this vacancy need to be
graduates.
b.)
They should have a diploma in computer
application which is equivalent to DOEACC ‘A’ level course. Diploma should be
from a reputed institution.
c.)
Competitors who have obtained their bachelors in
computer applications can also apply for the same.
How to Apply
Competitors vying for above mentioned vacancies will need to
walk-in to interview venues along with their original certificates pertaining
to education and age. They should also carry attested photocopies of the same
along with a passport size photograph.

Selection Process
Eligible competitors will face a personal interview with NVS
panel. Individuals who score well in the
interviews will be offered the contract.
Remuneration:
Remuneration for post of PGT is Rs 21,300/- per month (all
inclusive)
All inclusive remuneration for TGTs and FCSA posts is Rs
20,000 per month.
