RPSC (Rajasthan Public Service Commission) has announced vacancy
of 33,689 Shiksha Sahayak posts in department of elementary education, Bikaner,
Rajasthan (India). This is biggest vacancy in Rajasthan Education department in
year 2013. Recent notification is issued for direct recruitment on post of
Shiksha Sahayak who meet eligibility criteria on grounds of educational
qualification, age limit and others.

Eligibility Norms :
Age Limit Criteria: Age of candidates applying for post of shikshan
shayak should be Minimum- 18 years and Maximum 35 years as on 01/01/2014.
Relaxation in age to candidates of reserved category will be given as per
government rules.
Educational Qualification : Candidates must have 12th Class (Intermediate
or equivalent) passing certificate to become eligible to apply for the post.
Domicile criteria: Candidates belonging to Rajasthan State
are only eligible to apply. No candidate of other states are eligible to apply
against current vacancies.
Physical Standard : No physical standard are required from
candidates. They may be of any height or weight.

Application fees: Fees for general candidates / unreserved
category is Rs. 275 and for other candidates of SC/ST category and non-creamy
layer OBC candidates it is Rs.175.
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made by
nodal officer on basis of merit. Merit will be prepared according to marks of
12th Class.

and while filling online application form. It is advised to fill online
application some day before of last date 3rd July 2013 to avoid heavy load on

Role to play by Shiksha Sahayak
The candidates who will be appointed on post of shiksha
sahayak will be teaching to students of primary class in the primary schools of
Rajasthan government which comes under department of elementary education. These
shiksha shayak will not be paid salary instead they will be paid stipulated
stipend. The job of shiksha sahayak “Education Assistant” will be not permanent
as no appointment in primary schools can be made till the person possess
required qualification as per NCTE rules i.e. they must be qualify TET.
