TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public service commission) has announced
huge vacancies for Group-IV posts through latest notification dated 14.06.2013
under TNPSC Recruitment 2013. Online applications will be accepted from candidates
for written examination under direct recruitment project 2013. Selected
applicants for the posts will work under Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service, Tamil
Nadu Secretariat Service, Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service and Tamil
Nadu Survey and Land Records Subordinate Service of Tamil Nadu State
Government.
Under the current TNPSC Recruitment notification number
9/2013 for the 5566 Vacancies of Group-4, it is stated that these vacancies includes Vacancies
of Medical and Rural Health Services, Registration Department, Animal Husbandry
and Veterinary Services, Treasuries and Accounts, Commercial Tax (South)
Chennai Division, Agriculture, Public Works, School Education and Police Departments
for the year 2013-14. However, vacancies under TNPSC Recruitment 2013 for these
services are yet to be confirmed.

- Junior Assistant (Non - Security) – 3469 Posts
- Junior Assistant (Security) – 62 Posts
- Bill Collector, Grade-I – 19 Posts
- Typist – 1738 Posts
- Steno-Typist, Grade – III -242 posts
- Field Surveyor – 06 Posts
- Draftsman – 30 Posts
Eligibility Details
Age Limit – 18-30 Years. SC/ST 35 Years (having higher qualification
will have no bar on max age limit), Backward 32 Years. Candidates of post Field
Surveyor will get relaxation in upper age limit who have training certificate
in ITI.
Educational Qualification – For all posts mentioned, qualification criteria is common. Candidates need to have passed certificate of SSLC Examination or its equivalent to eligible for TNPSC Recruitment 2013 eligibility norms.
For candidates of Typists and Steno Typist posts, TNPSC
require technical qualification and computer qualification certificate.
Selection Process –
Recruitment on posts of Junior Assistant,
Bill Collector, Typist, Field Surveyor and Draftsman will be done through
written examination on 25.08.2013 between 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Candidates need
to appear in written exam at exam centers mentioned in Annexure–I of notification
of TNPSC Recruitment 2013.

website before examination date. Candidates need to check their email id or
