IBPS has recently announced that they will be conducting ONLINE CWE ( online common written
examination) for RRBs to fill the post
of probationary officers PO (General Banking Officers and Specialist Officers
(Scale I, II and III) and Office Assistants(Multipurpose) posts .
This will be the second CWE for recruitment in RRBs. IBPS Exam 2013-14 details are available here. This test is completely online unlike the
previous CWE which was paper based. Total of 62 banks are participating in the
same.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
Scale I officer: Applicant should be in the age group of 18
years to 28 years
Scale II officer: applicant should be in the age group of 21
years to 32 years
Scale III officer: applicant should be in the age group of
21 years to 40 years
Office Assistant: applicant should be in the age group of 18
years to 28 years
Educational Qualification
Applicants for Office Assistants and Scale - I Officer:
Degree should be proficient in local language.
Applicants for Scale III Officer should possess a Degree
with 50% marks in aggregate where as applicants for Scale II Officer -
Specialists Officer General Banking
should hold Professional qualifications as related to the posts. Kindly
refer to official notification for the detailed break up.
How To Apply
Applicants will need to visit the official website for
filling the application form. Application is available on www.ipbs.in. you will need to click on link that
states Common written examination- RRB’s and select the post that they want to
apply for. They would need to fill in their details and pay the application fee
online or offline. Application fee for Scale
I, II and III Officers and office
assistants is Rs 600 for unreserved candidates whereas Scheduled caste,
scheduled tribe or physically handicapped candidates would need to pay Rs 100
towards application fee.
Exam Pattern
Examination of IBPS 2013-14 will be based on areas like numerical ability,
English, general awareness, computer knowledge and logical reasoning. Online objective paper is required to solved by aspirants of IBPS CWE exam. More details on www.ibps.in
