Odisha Gramya Bank invites online application from all the successful candidates of Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and declared qualified for the post of Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) from Indian citizens.

Recruitment Details:

Candidates will be hired for the following posts:

Officer scale 1: total vacancies for this post is 108; comprising 55 posts for general candidates, 29 for
OBC; 16 for SC; 8 for ST & 3 for physically challenged candidates. The salary for this post will be Rs
27000/- including DA & HRA

Office Assistant (Multipurpose): total vacancies for this post is 193; comprising 98 posts for general candidates, 23 for OBC; 30 for SC; 42 for ST & 5 for physically challenged candidates. The salary for this post will be Rs 14960/- including DA & HRA.

Age Limit: The candidate applying for the posts should be above the age of 18 years but below the age of 28 years as on 01 June 2012 depending on the various posts. The age relaxation to the candidates will be gives as per the norms of Government.

Educational Qualification: The interested candidates must have Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. It is mandatory to have Proficiency in local language.To get the detailed for each post you can follow the notification.

Selection Process:


The eligible candidates for various posts will be selected on the basis of performance in RRBs - Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.

Application Procedure:


As notified by the bank that Candidates are required to apply online through Bank’s website www.odishabank.in between 12-04-2013 and 20-04-2013 (Last date). No other means/mode of application will be
accepted.


How to pay Application fees- 

For CANDIDATES remitting fees through ODISHA GRAMYA BANK, the procedure is as follows:

  • The candidate should take a printout of the fee payment challan
  • Fill in the Fee Payment Challan in a clear and legible handwriting in BLOCK LETTERS.
  • Go to the nearest Odisha Gramya Bank Branch with the Fee payment Challan and pay, in Cash, the appropriate Application and remit their fees in the account number mentioned in the notification of various districts.

For candidates who want to remit their fees through Other Commercial Bank Branch

NOTE: Original fee payment receipt i.e CBS challan will have to be submitted with the Call Letter at the time of Interview. Without original CBS challan the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the Interview.
