Vacancy details
Directorate of Economics & Statistics (DES) Jaipur in
alliance with Government of Rajasthan has issued an official notification for
recruitment of 572 posts of computer operators. These vacancies also include
the backlog of previous vacancies.

August 2013
Eligibility Criteria
Age limit: applicants for computer post should not be less
than 18 years of age nor should they exceed 35 years of age.
**Please note that candidates belonging to scheduled caste,
scheduled tribe or other backward classes can claim age relaxation as per
government of India regulations. Relaxed upper age limit of scheduled caste and
scheduled tribe candidates will be 40 years of age whereas relaxed upper age
limit for candidates belonging to other backward classes will be 38 years of
age.
Educational Qualification:
Applicant must possess a
Graduate degree in respect to B.Sc with
Maths/Statistics/Economics as one of the prime subjects or should hold an Engineering Degree or they should possess Diploma in Computer
Science(CS) or NIELIT "O" Certificate from recognized university or
institution.

18th July 2013, so do not wait till last minute to apply. Apply on priority.
You will need to click on application link for computer posts and fill in the
personal details, educational details and professional experience if any. Double check the details filled in to avoid
any errors. Submit the error free form online. Please note that all candidates
are required to pay an application fee of Rs 300 towards this post. You can pay
the fee by online by net banking, debit card, credit card or through e-mitra
kiosks. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories are exempt from fee
payment.
Selection Process
All applicants will need to appear for a written examination
of 100 marks. This examination will be objective in nature. Candidates will
need to achieve a certain score above the cut off limit to be considered for
computer positions. Final appointments will be based on merit list drawn on
basis of performance in the written examination.
