notification inviting applications for
the recruitment of various vacancies including horticulture development
officers, assistant professors, J& K police service, J&K accounts
service and J&K administrative services. Please refer to official

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
[For J&K police service, administrative service and
accounts department]: applicants should not be below 21 and should not be above
35 years of age.
[For horticulture development officer]: applicants should
not be below 18 and should not be above 37 years of age.
Educational Qualification
For J&K police service, administrative service and
accounts department: Applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree in any field.
For horticulture development officer: Candidates must hold a bachelors degree in
science with horticulture as majors namely B.Sc Horticulture or Agriculture/
M.Sc Horticulture.
How To Apply
For J&K police service, administrative service and accounts
department: applicant should purchase the form and the kit from any branch of
J&K bank by paying prescribed fee. Application form and acknowledgement card
should be duly filled and should be submitted in any branches of J&K bank.
Application fee for general candidates is Rs 800 and for reserved candidates is
Rs 550. Candidates below poverty line can purchase the form for free.
For horticulture development officer: applicant should purchase the form from
commission office or any J&K bank branch. Fee for general candidates is rs
500 and for reserved category candidates fee is Rs 250. Duely filled form
should be attached with attested photocopies of educational certificates and
other relevant documents along with attested photograph. Enclosures should be
sent through special envelope to the commission office.
Selection process
For J&K police service, administrative service and
accounts department: applicants will be screened through preliminary
examination initially. Applicants faring well in preliminary screening will
appear for main examination followed by
a personal interview.
For horticulture development officer: applicants will have
to undergo a competitive written examination. Those who clear the same will be
called for a personal interview.
