Eligibility
To be recruited on post of Officer Grade B (Pay scale - 21000-1000-30000-EB-1000-32000-1100-36400),
The Reserve Bank of India Services Board clearly mentioned that candidates applying
online should ensure their educational, age limit norms as required for the
current posts. Candidates should be at least have first class bachelor degree
(Minimum 60% marks) or Second class post graduate degree (55% marks) or
doctorate degree (minimum 50% marks) or CA, MBA.
Selection Process and Exam details
Scheme of Selection under notification provides selection of
candidates on the basis of two phase exam and Interview
- Phase 1 Exam (On Line Examination (OE)- This exam will be held online. Phase 1 exam will be of 200 marks of 3 hours consisting of objective type questions.
- Phase 2 Exam (Written Examination(Descriptive Type))- This exam will be of Descriptive Type papers consisting of
- (i) Paper I – English
- (ii) Paper II – Economic and Social Issues and
- (iii) Paper III – Finance and Management
Each paper in phase 2 exam i.e. written examination will be
of 100 marks and duration 3 hours.
Those candidates who qualify in Phase 1 exam and shortlisted
for Phase 2 exam on basis of merit prepared by board by deciding suitable qualifying
marks will be finally selected for interview.
Phase 2 exam will be held in month of November 2013

Application Fees
Only General category candidates are
required to pay application fees of Rs.400 through online or by depositing in
bank through challan. Fees can be paid both online and offline mode. Other candidates
of reserved category are exempt from paying application fees amount.

Admit Card
Candidates will be able to download Admission letters (AL)/
Hall ticket/Admit card from Bank's website for Phase –I before examination.
Intimation to download admit card will be sent bay RBI Service Board to
candidates on their email/mobile.
